What You Should Do When You Have Anxiety As a Candida Symptom

Are you having anxiety as part of your candida symptoms? If the anxiety of yours is very serious, don't go abandoning your meds just yet if you still need them. Keep in mind that you might not be absorbing them so well due to your impacted intestines so lowering your dose might not be wise at this juncture. You need all you can get.

A woman I know shared her experience. She felt like she was on a roller coaster for two weeks in the beginning but she still took the Buspar (anti-anxiety) until a few days ago. She began the anti-candida diet on February. So that means she felt good enough to go off Buspar over 2 months later. She also had a crying attack by the way.

It is going to take a year or two or more to get your body detoxed and working more efficiently. In the meantime go very slowly with drastic changes in your routine. Going cold turkey off of the meds may not be the best thing even though the long term goal is to be medicine-free. Change your diet first. Get your bowels cleaned out and working better, then see how you feel.

Anxiety is indeed a side effect of the candida and as you get rid of the candida, the brain chemicals will return to normal. For right now though, take your meds so you can function. Do this one step at a time.

Take a deep breath, make a nice cup of chamomile tea or sip something that will calm you down. Taking the Xanax will not set you back as far as you think. Take it if you need it! For now, change your diet. That is something you can do that is positive and will get you on your way toward a candida free life.
